Shaun Worthington named as man who died in A614 crash

The man who died following a fatal road traffic collision on the A614 between Burton Agnes and Haisthorpe at 1.11pm yesterday (Wednesday 19 November 2014) has been named locally as Shaun Worthington.

The collision was between Mr Worthington’s silver coloured Audi and a white coloured Renault tipper wagon.

The former East Riding College pupil, in his 20s, sustained serious injuries and died at the scene.

The mans next of kin have been informed.

Tributes have been flooding in over social media for Shaun Worthington.

Danielle Mitchell said on Twitter: “Rest in peace Shaun Worthington. Taken so soon but never forgotten. Thoughts and prayers are with your family.”

Luke Benjamin said on Twitter: “Such sad news about Shaun Worthington. Rest in peace.”

Humberside Police are investigating the collision and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or witnessed the car in the area prior to the collision.
