Overnight road closures continue on A64 near Scarborough this week

The road will be closed both ways between Seamer and Dunslow Road between 8pm and 6am for five nights starting this evening.

The works, by Highways England are part of a scheme to improve footpaths, resurfacing and cycleways between Seamer and the Eastfield roundabout.

The package of works will provide continuous off-carriageway access for non-motorised users between Staxton, Dunslow and Eastfield.

The A64 at West Knapton remains in narrow lanes until March for junction improvements.
