Police shut A169 from Whitby to Pickering after vehicle sheds its load
Police have closed the A169 between Whitby and Pickering after it was blocked by a vehicle.
The road at Saltergate Bank is currently shut after a vehicle shed its load of glass.
Police said they are looking at a way to reopen the road as soon as possible, but that drivers should plan their route and expect delays in the area.
