Two swimmers 'safe and well' after helicopter search in Bridlington
Humber Coastguard say that a pair of swimmers have been found "safe and well" following a search.
The coastguard were alerted that the two swimmers may have been in difficulty at 3.22pm yesterday on Bridlington's South Beach.
A search and rescue operation was launched by the Bridlington RNLI lifeboat, Humberside search and rescue helicopter and the Bridlington Coastguard Rescue Team.
The emergency services have since been stood down.
