Fire crews were called when a vehicle ended up in a ditch after skidding on compacted ice at about 11am yesterday in Kirby Misperton.

Fire crews were called out to two nearby incidents yesterday.

A crew were later called to Westbourne Grove in Scarborough after a boiler fell off a wall causing flooding.

When crews arrived, shortly after 9.45pm, an engineer had already isolated the gas and water so no action was taken.
