VIDEO: High winds bring down tree in Scarborough street

High winds have brought down a large tree in Weydale Avenue in Scarborough.

Council staff have been called to remove the tree which was blocking the road.

The video was captured by Scarborough News photographer Richard Ponter.

He also took some footage in South Bay this morning, where the sea was fairly calm but winds were still strong.
