But what the dirty dog lady did not realise was that 37-year-old Belgrave Road resident, Oliver Stone, caught the filthy crime on his home security camera.

“I think it’s disgusting. Everyone has stepped in dog mess before,” Oliver said.

“It ends up getting brought into people’s houses and could cause health problems, especially for children. They shouldn’t do it.”

The video captured at 6.13am on Tuesday shows the brazen dog owner stop to allow her dog to relieve itself. She is then seen putting her hand in her pocket, as if to take out a sanitary bag, before looking around and walking away.

“You can see she’s seen it happen,” Oliver added. “Then she just walks away not caring.

People get upset over it – she wouldn’t have done it outside her own home.”

Now the 37-year-old has taken to social media in an effort to track the culprit, posting the footage on Facebook and sharing it with the Free Press. He went on to say: “I don’t like the thought that people can get away with this sort of behaviour. My aim is stop her from messing up my street and town and hopefully deter others too.”
