10 pictures of huge waves crashing over Scarborough's South Bay during Storm Ciara

Giant waves were crashing into sea walls and railings on South Bay yesterday as Storm Ciara swept across the UK.

These amazing pictures, taken on Sunday, show the extent of the storm with saw heavy rain and winds of almost 100mph.
