Met Office issues yellow weather warning for rain: here's your weekend forecast in and around Scarborough

The warning will be in place tomorrow from 4am till 11.59pm.

Persistent rain which can lead to some flooding and disruption is expected through much of the day on Saturday.

Bus and train services are likely to be affected and flooding on roads might make journey times longer.

Rain is expected to ease throughout Sunday, however, showers remain possible.

It will be breezy on Monday, with rain clearing to scattered showers.
