Power cuts may occur and other services, such as mobile phone coverage, may be affected

Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures and some rural communities could become cut off.

Forecast:

Rain, sleet and snow will continue through the morning, increasingly turning to rain at low levels with icy stretches possible for a time.

Conditions are expected to dry up from 2pm onwards with clear spells and sunshine from 3pm to 5pm.

Temperatures will continue to feel cold with a maximum feels like temperature of 5°C at 3pm.

Tonight will remain cold and windy with winds dropping in the early hours.

Tomorrow is forecast to be dry and cloudy with some bright spells and a maximum temperature 6 °C.
