WEATHER: Flood alert and warnings in place for River Seven, Rye and Derwent
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
A flood warning is in place for the River Seven at Marton where flooding is expected.
Water levels are expected to reach 1.9m late Tuesday morning at which point flooding is likely along Marton road. Levels are expected to remain high for several days as further heavy rainfall is forecast until Thursday.

Hide AdA flood alert is in in place for the catchment of the River Seven and River Rye with residents told to be prepared for flooding.
A flood alert is also in place for the Upper River Derwent and flooding is possible, areas most at risk are low lying land and roads around Low Marishes and Malton.
Water levels are rising due to melting snow and persistent and heavy rain, which is forecast to continue through until early Thursday morning.

Cold and windy on Thursday and Friday with sunny spells and wintry showers. Perhaps drier and brighter on Saturday with lighter winds. Risk of frosts overnight.
