The best Kindle deal of Black Friday 2025 is not actually on Amazon
The cheapest Kindle deal for Black Friday is not actually on Amazon.
The Kindle device has been a runaway success for Amazon thanks to the Kindle store, which allows you to download millions of books from just 99p, with popular titles often offered free in Kindle sales.
Amazon is selling the latest generation of the Kindle device for as little as £79.99, down from £119 but there may be an even better deal for shoppers who do not need to buy the latest generation of the device.
Deals website Wowcher is selling Kindle tablets for as little as £19.99 in an impressive Black Friday sale.
The options in the deal include the Kindle Fire 7 (Orange, 16GB), Fire HD 7 (Black, 16GB), Kindle Fire 1st Gen (Black, 8GB), or Fire 7 5th Gen (Purple, 16GB), which come with up to 16GB of storage for books downloaded from the Kindle store.
The Kindle Fire is not a standard e-reader. Instead it is more of a multi-use tablet that allows you to browse the internet, watch streaming services and play games on the device.
The Wowcher deal is not the most recent generation of Fire tablets but is a cheap way to get a basic Kindle-ready device at a fraction of the price of Amazon deals.
For more modern Kindle devices Amazon has discounts on all of the range-topping options including the new Kindle Kids for just £74.99, down from £115, and the Kindle Coloursoft, which allows readers to browse books and magazines in colour. The Coloursoft is down from £269.99 to just £183.
The Kindle Paperwhite, which features a paper-like screen that closely resembles a real book and helps to reduce eye strain, is reduced from £169.99 to £134.99.
