Aldcroft stars as England A sweep aside Maple Leafs
Scarborough-born Zoe Aldcroft came off the bench to make her England National Academy debut in the side’s win over Canada Maple Leafs on Tuesday night.
Aldcroft, who plays for Darlington Mowden Park and learned her trade with the Scarborough RUFC minis, came off the bench for 20 minutes in the 37-29 win.
“It was great to get on and I’m hoping to get some more minutes when we play them again on Saturday,” said Aldcroft.
“Hopefully I can be part of another England win too.”
