Downie, 26, was due to take on Tamworth’s Josh O’Donnell at the Barnsley Metrodome on Friday September 18, but he will now switch his attentions to making his pro debut later than expected after picking up an injury in training.

Downie said: “Unfortunately I’ve got some bad news that my debut has had to be cancelled due to a injury. Thanks to people who enquired about tickets.”
