Tinker secures solid points win over durable Silva
Scarborough's Matthew Tinker maintained his unbeaten professional record with a controlled six-round shut-out of Brazilian former UFC contender Leandro Silva.
Light-heavyweight Tinker moved to 5-0 with four knockouts after being extended the distance by a game and durable Silva.
After breezing through his first four opponents in the paid ranks, Tinker took a noticeable step up in class against Silva, and while he couldn't get a fifth straight stoppage success, he won all six rounds to take the 60-54 win.
