Adam Lyth relishing potential Roses battle at North Marine Road
Yorkshire’s Adam Lyth is relishing a potential Roses clash against Lancashire in 2021 at his former home ground North Marine Road.

The Whitby native used to turn out for Scarborough, and admits there would be no better stage than a Yorkshire versus Lancashire clash at a jam-packed North Marine Road.
Lyth commented after chief executive Mark Arthur admitted it’s the club’s intention to try and plan the Roses Championship encounter in at Scarborough after it was cancelled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“It would be fantastic if we could hold the Roses match at Scarborough in 2021,” admitted Lyth, who has just returned from a spell with Pakistan Super League side Sultan Multans.
“I’ve said it before, but all the players, staff and officials at Yorkshire love coming to Scarborough each year.
