Centurions Morris and Johnson shine as Scalby hammer Flixton
Strugglers Scalby threw the YPLN Championship East formbook out of the window, as the hosts romped to a 167-run home win against promotion-chasers Flixton.
Having won the toss and chosen to bat, the Scalby second-wicket pairing of Kris Johnson, who smacked a brilliant 108, and Dave Morris, who hammered an outstanding 113, put on a 250-run partnership.

Marley Ward took 4-61 as the innings closed on a huge 311-6.
The Flixton reply faltered as only Connor Stephenson (25) and Will Hutchinson (24) showed resistance.

Paul Hesp, with a spectacular 6-33, was the prime reason for Flixton’s downfall, with Lachlan Cooke, 3-41, backing him up as the innings finished on 134 all out in 32.4 overs.
Seamer won by 23 runs at home to Scarborough.
Kieran Rutter’s excellent 5-46 and Archie Hammond’s impressive 4-49 would usually have seen a side dismissed rather cheaply but Gregg Chadwick’s brilliant 100 not out gave Seamer a fighting chance, smashing 14 fours and a six in his 122-ball stay at the crease as they made it to 233 all out.
The number three bat shared a second-wicket stand of 65 with opener Pierz Bradi Cyster, the latter dominating the partnership with 45 from 49 balls, including six fours and two sixes.
In reply, Scarborough looked in good shape at 86-1, but Matty Morris took three quick wickets to reduce them to 107-6, Ben Squires falling for 41.
But Brad Milburn (59) then linked up with Hammond (27) first and then Charlie Hopper (20) to get the visitors back into the game before they were reduced to 210 all out.
Wykeham suffered an eight-wicket defeat at home to title-chasing Beverley Town 2nds.
Harry Amstell top-scored again with 44 and Ricky Nock added 27 for the hosts, a last-wicket stand of 39 between Tom Hiley (27no) and Steven Clegg (15no) helping them recover from 175-8 to 225-9.
Town eased to a winning 226-2 in 36.1 overs.
Beckett Division 1 leaders Ganton suffered a shock 10-run loss in a thrilling match at Brompton.
Andy Turns hammered 69 and Ben Jarvis 67 as Brompton posted 254-5, skipper Tom Fletcher-Varey earlier hitting 43 and Piet Rinke adding 34no.
In reply, the leaders saw an excellent second-wicket 153-run stand between Robert Bradley, who struck an excellent 80, and opener Jack Heslsehurst, who added 57, give them a strong start.
Rinke’s excellent 5-50 saw Ganton slip from 158-1 to 192-7, and despite Fred Bradley’s 36 the visitors slipped to 244 all out with five balls remaining.
Ebberston strengthened their title challenge with a nine-wicket triumph at Thornton Dale.
The in-form Joe Dunnett snapped up 3-16 and James Boyes 3-30 as Dale were skittled for 120, Lewis White hitting 42 while former Ebberston duo Adie Turnbull and Eddie Craggs made 25 apiece.
Michael Hirst’s 59no in 48 balls steered Ebberston to 121-1 in just 16.4 overs, with support from Jon Mason (30) and Jonty Megginson (27no).
William Skene’s excellent 5-37 ensured Filey remain in the battle for the title and promotion with a superb 80-run win at home to Sherburn, who started the day in third.
Opener Nathan Robson carried his bat for a crucial 81 as Filey were all out for 187, Kyle Outhart claiming 3-37, but then Skene and Ben Rowe (3-28) teamed up to skittle the visitors for just 107, George Wilson top-scoring with 29.
