Flixton B quit Evening League

Flixton B have pulled out of the AndyHire Scarborough & District Evening Cricket League.

Stephen Hill had a fine season for Flixton B last season. Flixton B have quit the Evening League.

The Flixton second string are the only side to pull out of the league this winter,

League secretary Bernard Goulding said: “Flixton told me that they are only running one team in the Evening League in 2015 so a lot of their York League players can have net practice on Evening League nights to enable them to gain promotion to the York premier division.”

There have been no new applications to join the league.

The Evening League AGM is being held at Scarborough CC on Monday February 2, 7.30pm start.
