A Connor Stephenson hat-trick did the early damage to leave Sessay 2-3, and the visitors never really recovered until a final-wicket stand between Stuart Clark (30no) and last-man George Swiers 25 put on 50 runs to take them into three figures at 107 all out from 38.2 overs.

Stephenson finished with 4-22 from eight overs, with fine spells of 2-16 from Harry Walmsley and 2-17 from Chris Mann, Elliot Hatton taking 1-7 from eight overs and skipper Tom Norman 1-25.

Flixton captain Tom Norman then shared an undefeated opening stand of 112 from only 23 overs, the skipper hitting 44no and Rich Malthouse 45no to book their place at home to Great Hatton next Sunday.
