Goole Town were bowled out for under a hundred for the third week in a row this time Harland and Elliot Hatton (3-27) doing most of the damage as the hosts slipped to 85 all out.

Matthew Cooper top scored for the home side with 24 in an otherwise disappointing batting performance.

Skipper Tom Norman (49) narrowly missed out on a half-century but that did not prevent his side chasing down their target inside 18 overs to make it three wins from their last four matches and stay second 27 points behind the Sessay.

A century stand between Tommy Hudson (90) and Dulash Udayanga (71) helped Sheriff Hutton Bridge continue their revival with a four wicket win at North Marine Road which ended Scarborough’s recent run of good YPLN form.

The visitors chased down the hosts total of 217-8 with six overs to spare, Hudson’s innings coming on the back of a century last week and his Sri Lankan partner passing 50 for the third time in 2021.

Young opener Cian Dickinson had earlier scored a half-century for the hosts, with James Wainman (38) and skipper Pat Roberts (44) adding to the total late on before both fell to Dave Henstock (3-52).

Scarborough 2nds slipped to a 70-run loss at Patrington in Division One East.

Charlie Hopper took 3-53 as the hosts racked up 235-7, Ben Butler top-scoring with 62.

Prince Bedi top-scored with 34 and Sam Carver added 23 as the visitors were dismissed for 165, Grant Van Es bagging 3-32.
