In the fixture between the two sides earlier this season Scarborough won by 115 runs, Tennant scoring 92 and Ryan Gibson taking 4-45.

With only 18 points between the top four, a 30-point victory could send Scarborough back to the top of the table.

Scarborough 2nds host York 4ths at North Marine Road this weekend, 1pm start.

Skipper Mark Cowell will be hoping for a similar performance to the one that saw a 200 run victory back in June.

Charlie Roberts will want to keep his fine form going after his 56 and 5-28 last week at New Earswick.

Scarborough are only two points from the top of Division Three South and they’ll hope to head back up to the summit this weekend.

Flixton head to Whitkirk on Saturday as they aim to pick up a valuable 30 points in division one.

Key men Chris Mann and Nick Zakrzewski will be hoping for runs this week but will have to cope with Mark Murphy and Michael O’Brien to get them.

Flixton will need to turn around their form after back-to-back defeats but will be hoping to repeat their nine-wicket win against the West Yorkshire side earlier this season.

Anthony Stones scored a ton that day and captain Jamie Nesfield took 5-44, if Flixton can be that decisive on Saturday they will hope to jump up the table to as high as seventh.
