Mason scored his 40 runs off just 32 balls while Turnbull hit a great 65 with five fours and two sixes off just 46 balls and he was finally out with the score at 131.

Craggs came on to bowl for Ebberston and got Morris out with his first ball and with Turnbull bowling tightly at the other end it left Staxton with five wickets down needing 12 runs to win off the last over to be bowled by Craggs.
This went as follows, dot ball, a bye, a wicket with Adam Hargreaves bowled, and then in came Staxton skipper Dan Bulman who hit a straight six on his first ball, followed this with a four and then a single to win the game with just two balls remaining to complete a brilliant final.
The bowling figures for Ebberston were Turnbull, 2-19, Craggs, 2-21, Eddie Swiers, 1-27, and Reece Milner, 1-40.
Dan Bulman finished on 11 no and Linden Gray with 7 no to retain the trophy for Staxton and complete the league and cup double.
Sharron Blackstone, a joint director of AndyHire, the league sponsors, presented the cups to the two teams.
