Town’s second string are in action at mid-table Haltemprice on Saturday afternoon.

Bridlington Spa carried on their fine form in the Championship North with a 3-0 win on the road at lowly Scalby.

Sam Clarke smacked in a brace of goals for Spa, with Josh White also on target.

Spa will entertain Flamborough this Saturday.

Flamborough earned a 3-3 draw on the road at Langtoft.

Mitchell Collins, Josh Wilkins and sub Jamie Artley were on target for the visitors.

Brid Rovers Reserves’ second-half revival came too late to save them from a 5-3 loss at home to Newlands.

The visitors led 2-0 at the break thank to a penalty fired into the top corner by Dan Freer and a nice finish from Rob Whitehead. Newlands keeper Tom Cammish had to go off 10 minutes before the break with a knee injury and centre-back Ryan Collings replaced him between the sticks.

Zac Hansen came off the bench and made it 3-0 with quick feet and a smart finish into the bottom corner, but the hosts pulled it back to 3-1.

Hansen restored Newlands’ three-goal lead thanks to a smart lob after a brilliant flick-on by Olly Parker.

James Langton, Dawson Snaith and Ben Ward scored for Rovers.
