Beth Mead helps Arsenal to derby success over Tottenham Hotspur

Hinderwell’s Beth Mead bagged an assist in Arsenal Women’s memorable 6-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Women’s Super League on Sunday.

Mead teed up Arsenal’s sixth and final goal, scored by Caitlin Foord, that wrapped up the victory for the Gunners.

Arsenal have started the season in spectacular form, bagging five wins from five to sit top of the WSL standings.

The Gunners face London City Lionesses in the Continetntal League Cup in their next match on Wednesday November 11.

Mead then reported to St George’s Park for England duty.

The Lionesses will play an in-house friendly match on Friday before flying to Germany to take on their hosts at the Brita Arena in Wiesbaden on Tuesday.
