Boro confirm five friendlies

Boro, who start their pre-season training on June 30, will kick off their preparatory work on July 9 at Barton.

This will be followed by games at Hull United on July 11 and then Thackley on July 15.

They then host a Scarborough and District select team at Silver Royd on July 18, and they have also confirmed a game against Bridlington Town on August 1.

Joint-boss Paul Foot is also hoping to confirm more games over the next week or two.

He said: “We are just waiting for a few teams to get back to us at the moment. Hopefully we’ll have a few more games confirmed over the next week or two.
