Jones then made an excellent save to keep out Walshaw's close-range header as they looked for a leveller.

The away side continued to dominate the second half but could not get the breakthrough as Thomson went close we had a shot deflected wide of the goal and then Raven scrambled an effort off the home team's goal-line.

A minute later sub Jordan Buckley managed to miss the target from a yard out and then a few moments later Jones pulled off a brilliant save to keep out a Michael Coulson header.

Jones was the hero for Warrington yet again in injury-time as he excellently kept out Brooksby's thumping shot in injury-time.
