Goalkeeper Ryan Whitley has joined Scarborough Athletic on loan from National League North club York City.
In a deal initially until Christmas, the young gloveman will link up with Darren Kelly's men for today's NPL Premier opener at Atherton.
Whitley enjoyed a promising loan spell with Boro's east coast rivals Whitby Town a couple of years ago and Kelly is delighted to have brought him into the Flamingo Land Stadium.
"Ryan is a hugely promising young goalkeeper who I know very well as myself and Michael Ingham brought him into the York City academy a number of years ago," said Kelly.
