Boro under-15s sponsorship raffle raises over £1000

Scarborough Athletic under-15s will be sporting the logo of a new sponsor thanks to the massive success of a recent prize draw.

North East Security Shutters (NESS) were picked at random by Boro life member Are Guttelvik as the new sponsors of the away strip for the Athletic junior side after a prize draw of over 120 companies.

Firms were asked to pledge £10 to enter the draw, with over £1000 raised through the idea.

Organiser Shaun Darrell was delighted with the success of the draw.

He said: “Thank you to everyone who entered, and well done to North East Security Shutters on winning the draw to be our new away shirt sponsors.

“It is great to have the logo of a local company on our shirts for the rest of the season as we aim to push up the table.”

Luke Jennison from NESS commented: “We are delighted to have our logo on front of the away shirts and to support Scarborough Athletic through the draw.

“The boys have made a good start and hopefully they can keep improving as the season goes on.”
