Kelly has been a long-time admirer of the former Farsley and Darlington striker and is delighted that he has decided to join Boro despite offers from a host of other clubs.

"I'm delighted that Nathan has decided to join us at Scarborough," said Kelly.

"He's a player of great quality, a proven goalscorer and has the work ethic that I like to see in a player, so I am sure he'll be a successful addition for us and help us get to where we need to be."

Kelly is pleased with his three new signings to date and is hoping to finalise his 2020/21 squad in the coming weeks.

"Things are starting to come together now, we're getting there with putting our squad together and I'm pleased with what we have managed to do so far," added Kelly.

"I'd like to bring in two or three more new additions, and we're working to confirm which players are going to be staying with us as well."
