Bridlington Rangers Peacocks U13s beat Pelican 8-4
Bridlington Rangers Peacocks Under-13s claimed an 8-4 win at home to Pelican Rangers in the Hull & District Youth League.

A passionate and spirited performance started with Peacocks being the brighter side, scoring three in the first 10 minutes although the third was disallowed for an offside decision.
The game then became more even with the opposition pulling back to make it 2-2 going into half-time.
The second half started with us taking the lead and the opposition then once again equalising at 3-3 before Peacocks regained more control of the game with four more goals taking the score with five minutes to go to 7-3.
The opposition scored a late consolation goal before Taylor scored the final goal of the match to complete the scoresheet at 8-4.

A key win for Peacocks ensuring they remain in second position with one game left and all still to play for.
Peacocks’ goals came from Aston, who hit a hat-trick, Ellis (2), Connor (2) and Taylor.
The coaches said: “Every player was superb today and all showed real resilience in their commitment and determination.
“The man of the match was awarded to Connor for never stopping running up and down the wing and the excellent header into goal."
