Cordukes brothers flying high after penning York City deals


Jevan and Jayden Cordukes have impressed since joining up with the Minstermen’s youth set-up, and have been offered two and one-year deals respectively as a result.
Right-wing-back Jevan is now going into his fourth year with the club, while Jayden, who is a goalkeeper, has been there two years.

Hide AdProud dad Jonny Cordukes said: “It’s great news, we are all really proud of them.
“I’m not sure where they get their ability from, but our five-year-old Jackson is also been to Leeds United’s youth set-up.
“The coaching is outstanding at York and the facilities are so much better than anything around here.
“They have done a lot of work with Robbie Hawkes and Andy Phillips locally too, so we owe them a thank you too.”

Hide AdJevan has really shone for the Minstermen and was named player of the tournament as his side reached the semi-finals of a competition in Amsterdam last month.
“Hopefully they can keep improving, they seem to be getting better every season,” added dad Jonny.
