Cooke's 67 was enough to keep him top on 1,300 points after Carl Sample, 44, and Jamie Ramm, 48, failed to close the gap to the leader in second and third.

Marlon Moreno had a decent week, collecting 70 points to move into contention in fourth, while one-time leader Gary Hodgson is fifth after his 69 points took him to 1,236 points.

Skelton's points came courtesy of captain Wayne Rooney, 18, Ashley Williams, 15, David Silva, 12, and Harry Kane and Petr Cech, 10 each.

Cummins owed the bulk of his success to Man City hitman Sergio Aguero, who notched him 32 points, while Silva, 12, and Cech, 10, also helped out.

At the wrong end of the table, Scarborough Athletic official Geoff Osguthorpe is in trouble of hitting rock-bottom after he netted 30 points and the bottom two of Alec Coulson and Craig Rackham managed 58 and 43 points respectively.
