Goalkeeper Lloyd Allinson departs Scarborough Athletic

Former Huddersfield stopper Allinson found himself surplus to requirements after the arrival of York City keeper Ryan Whitley, with youngster Ethan Hodgson taking up the spot on the bench.

Boss Darren Kelly said: "Lloyd came in for pre-season and has been first class, but Ryan has come in and taken the jersey.

"I had a good chat with Lloyd and he was brilliant, sometimes players can be difficult when they're not playing, but Lloyd has been first class.

"He leaves on good terms and I wish him all the best."
