Whitby Town FC has confirmed that Jason Kennedy has departed his position as joint-manager following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.

He quickly became an influential figure behind the scenes, earning the respect of players and staff alike.

Following a change in management structure during the 2025/26 campaign following the departure of Gary Liddle to Hartlepool United, Kennedy stepped up to take on the role of joint-manager alongside Lee Bullock, helping to guide the side through the remainder of the season. His tenure provided stability and continuity during a transitional period for the club.

Whitby Town have placed on record their sincere thanks to Kennedy for his professionalism, commitment and contribution throughout his time at the Towbar Express Stadium. He departs with the club’s best wishes for his future career.

Further updates regarding the club’s management structure will be communicated in due course.
