Long-serving player-coach Tom Morgan leaves Scarborough Athletic

The back-up goalkeeper and coach, who joined from Farsley in 2016, said: “I want to thank everyone at the club, from all the members of the board room to all the volunteers who have made me feel so welcome.

“I want to say a special thank you to the fans, I hope you keep getting behind Darren Kelly and the team, play your part by supporting them in the special way you do.

“Keep pushing the club back to where it belongs. I hope one day our paths will cross again. All the best for the future.”

Boro boss Kelly added: “Thank you to Tom for his amazing help, his work with the NHS is inspiring and our door is always open.”
