Nathan Cartman to tackle marathon challenge in aid of Andy's Man Club
The former Darlington and Farsley Celtic striker will start his 26.2 mile challenge at Savile Park in Halifax on Sunday April 25.
Prolific striker Cartman has opened up on his recent battles with mental health problems and seeked help from Andy’s Man Club, which was launched by former Leeds Rhinos and Halifax player Luke Ambler after his brother in law Andy Roberts took his own life in 2016.

“I suppose this is about giving something back for the support I received from them and this is the way I’ve decided to do it.
“We need to ask for help or make sure we talk to people, they don’t have to be friends or family, sometimes its best to get things of your chest to people who have no input in your life.”
Athletic striker Cartman initially set a target of £300 for the challenge on his GoFundMe page, and he has already met that amount.
