Player-coach David Brown leaves Scarborough Athletic

Just two days after the appointment of new boss Jono Greening Brown announced his exit on Twitter on Sunday afternoon.

He Tweeted: "Big thanks to all @safc difficult stop start season with restrictions throughout, massive credit to the players for going above and beyond to play during a difficult time.

"I have no doubt @JonoGreening8 will be a huge success at the club and it’ll be first result I look for."
