Whitby RFC and Cayton will play in the top flight after gaining promotion from division two last season, while only Ayton will be relegated from the top flight after United Sports Bar resigned towards the end of last season.

Rosette make the drop into division three, while Seamer Reserves, Falsgrave Athletic and Cayton Reserves are promoted into division two, with Snainton electing to stay put in the second division despite finishing in the bottom two.

Earlier in the evening, a proposition to introduce rolling substitutes wasn’t accepted by the member clubs as they voted 16-4 against it.

The season will officially commence on September 1 and will end on April 30.
