Scarborough Athletic to hold virtual game to replace money-spinning clash against FC United of Manchester
The club ran the virtual match for their scheduled home game against Gainsborough last weekend and over 115 fans bought tickets and other merchandise.
Boro’s game against FC United was set to be a huge money-spinner for them, with the promotion-chasers renowned for travelling in large numbers.

For this Saturday’s game the club also have a programme for sale that can be downloaded as a PDF.
Chairman Trevor Bull said: “I’ve been in touch with FC United’s chairman and they were all set to come in big numbers, so it’s a big loss to the club.
“I’d like to thank all the fans who have supported so far and continue to do so.”
