"I have spoken to both clubs this morning and both have confirmed that no players or officials are displaying symptoms of Coronavirus and they are therefore happy for the game to be played.

"Consistent with the Government’s current advice, North Riding FA are following the lead of The FA who are recommending that grassroots football is able to continue as usual for now.

"We will continue to monitor all Government advice and keep the situation under constant review, with the priority being the health and wellbeing of all.

"North Riding FA will remain in contact with both clubs over the next 24 hours in case there is a change in circumstances but we expect the game to be played at this stage.”
