First-half goals from Emma Willis and Anna Bowman gave the visitors a 2-0 half-time lead, with stand-in keeper Amber Colling’s goal living a charmed life as the hosts hit the woodwork three times.

But playing down the slope in the second half, the Boro girls really turned on the style, rattling in five further goals from Lara Peasegood-Capilla, Ellie Pateman, Colling, Daisy Willis and Poppy Simpson.

A late goal for Leeds didn’t dampen the celebrations, and the girls now travel to Horsforth on Saturday with a place in the final just one step away.
