Scarborough Saturday League: Cup Reports: Glendinning hits hat-trick as Seamer see off Ayton
Prolific striker Danny Glendinning edged Seamer ahead but Ayton rallied and bagged two goals through Cam Alexander and Luke McNulty to lead 2-1 at half-time.
Joe Tiffany’s men took over after the break though, Glendinning equalising before Joel Ramm netted to put the visitors 3-2 ahead.

Hide AdGlendinning then wrapped up his hat-trick before goals from Luke Purvis and Dean Craig wrapped up the win for Seamer.
Ramm was Seamer’s star man, while Ayton player-boss Ian Laing was pleased with his entire side’s efforts.
Edgehill hammered FC Rosette 12-0 to progress into the next round as man of the match Joshua Fergus smashed in six goals.
Steve Clegg’s men led 5-0 at the break after Fergus hammered a first-half hat-trick and skipper Joe Gallagher bagged a brace.

Hide AdFergus’ goalscoring efforts continued in the second half with a further three goals, while Gallagher also hit a further three to take his tally to five.
Robbie Scarborough hit Edgehill’s other goal.
Rosette’s Billy Cammish said: “We never gave up and had a few half-chances, but they were much the better side. Goalkeeper Mikey Harland was our star man.”
Itis Itis Rovers won 4-0 at Filey Town to move through to the next round.
Neil Forsyth and Niall Gibb struck in the first half to send Jordan Lee’s men in 2-0 up at the break before an own goal and a Curtis Ireland strike wrapped up the win for Rovers.
Luke Jones was Rovers’ star man.

Hide AdAlso through to the next round are Will Jenkinson’s West Pier side, who won 4-1 at Division Two side Snainton.
Sam Garnett bagged the only goal of the first half before Martin Cooper hit two in the second half and a Si Reeves strike wrapped up the win for Pier.
Rob Holt scored Snainton’s goal after a defensive mix up.
Jake Adams and Martin Cooper stood out for Pier while Snainton boss Andy Holt singled out goalscorer Holt, Leigh Watson and Regan Hewitt as his side’s star men.
