Edgehill and West Pier return to league action this weekend as they continue their battle for the Scarborough News Saturday League Division One title.

Leaders Pier will be confident of claiming all three points at second-from-bottom Cayton, while Edgehill, who are nine points behind the leaders but have two games in hand on Pier, entertain third-from-bottom Whitby Fishermen.

On Sunday, the top-flight teams lock horns in the Senior Cup quarter-finals.

Holders West Pier travel to Ayton, while Newlands play host to Roscoes Bar, Cayton entertain FILO and Heslerton make the long trip north to Fylingdales.

In the league, Angel Athletic can confirm their second division title success with a home win against Ayton Reserves.
