A flying start steered Snainton to a 4-1 home win against basement side Rosedale.

Tom Fletcher-Varey scored on five minutes, Ross Pllu netting minutes later. Dan Simpson increased the advantage on 15 minutes, and five minutes later Fletcher-Varey hit their fourth. Ryan Diuga hit Dale’s consolation.

Heslerton earned a vital 2-0 win at fellow strugglers Danby thanks to a Warren Stanton goal and an own goal.

Richard Gale made his debut between the posts for the visitors in an opening half where for the best part both teams cancelled each other out.

The second half was to be a different story, especially for Heslerton.

Following a trip on Matty Bean, Morgan Kendrew fired a low free-kick which went under the Danby wall, though the keeper would take the sting out of the shot Warren Stanton was on hand to stroke the ball over the line and give the visitors the breakthrough.

Within minutes Heslerton were two to the good.

Unable to deal with a Kendrew corner kick the ball was miskicked by a defender into his own net.

Heslerton, now in the attacking ascendancy, scuppered several opportunities to go further ahead, Bean forcing a fine save from Charlie Parker in the home goal and Ethan Chan firing over when well placed.

Danby would press for a route back into the game, Jack Dowson bringing an excellent save out of Gale however the Heslerton rearguard stood firm to take the maximum points.

Division Two leaders Whitby Fishermen’s Development won 5-1 at home to Ryedale, Jay Jordan hitting a hat-trick and Freddy Barkas a brace.

Goldsborough lost 3-1 at home to promotion rivals Lealholm Reserves.

Sam Russell, Harry Craggs and sub Sonny McDermott struck for Lealholm, Andy Martin replying for Boro.

Terry Duggan’s hat-trick helped Goal Sports fight back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at home to Slingsby.

Bagby & Balk were the visitors to Sand Lane as they took an early lead against Heslerton Development through striker Reece Windle.

Mark Taylforth would increase Bagby’s hold on the game before the interval and would grab a second on the hour mark.

Heslerton would be given slight hope of a comeback as Dylan Dixon was upended inside the 18-yard box, Lewis Tillotson beating keeper Shane Bell from 12 yards, but that would be the final goal of the game.

Fishburn Park Academy defeated Ampleforth 5-2, thanks to goals from Harry Coates, Max Gregorek and Ben Underdown and a brace from sub Richard Winchurch.
