The Humbersiders have beaten Scarborough comfortably at home in the last two seasons so skipper Matty Jones’s men will be looking for a reversal of fortunes at Hull’s Springhead Lane ground.
Hullensians started the season well going five games unbeaten; three wins, including the 48-19 hammering of Beverley at Hull and two draws, 25-25 at Selby and 28-28 at York.
A 51-21 defeat at league-leaders Bridlington brought them back down to earth and that reverse was followed by defeats by high-flying West Leeds and Old Brodleians.

Hide AdTheir form has taken a real dip over the last two weeks with a 20-10 home defeat by Heath and last last week’s 52-19 thrashing at bottom club (up to that point) Acklam.
Whether it was brilliance by the home team or a train-crash of a performance from the visitors had yet to be reported but it leaves the Seasiders no knowing what to expect on Saturday.
For Saturday’s trip, coach Lee Douglas welcomes influential back row Isaac Faamau to his squad, which also includes front row Jordan Day, who moves up from the Vikings and Scarborough Sixth Form form student Joe Holiday.
Ethynne Terblanche has recovered from the injury which saw him leave the field in last week’s game with Heath. Graeme Jeffrey returns to ‘semi-retirement’ following a solid game last week and second row Mikey Readman is unavailable.

Hide AdElsewhere, the Vikings include Chris Purdy and Paul Taylor, as they entertain Hullensians 2nds at Silver Royd while the Danesmen have picked a squad and are looking for opponents on Saturday.
The Valkyries travel to Bramhope on Sunday to take on West Park Ladies, kick-off 2pm.
