Rudston trials star Josh Tate sparkles in British Championships
The Scarborough & District Motor Club member finished second in the 2022 ACU British youth national trials championship, but has only been riding in competitive motor sports for 18 months.
In that short time the Rudston-based youngster has already won several awards and championships on the local trials biking scene.

"Due to the Covid-19 pandemic he was unable to ride at the Harwood Dale-based club so he rode his bike in the back garden instead.
“When the Covid-19 restrictions were lifted he took part in his first competitive event in April 2021.
"In his first year he won the following: Scarborough Youth D championship, Scarborough Youth Summer series, East Yorkshire Centre championship and Oset Cup North Youth D intermediate.

"We are so proud of all Josh’s achievements, especially in such a short time since starting in trials.
"Michael Brown Racing is now sponsoring Josh, but his grandad Neil Tate has also helped us greatly from the start.
