Hosts Bridlington Road Runners shine at Sewerby EYCC League finale
Sunday saw the sixth and final race of the East Yorkshire Cross Country League hosted by the Bridlington Road Runners club at Sewerby.
A testing but enjoyable route saw the runners head out from Sewerby through Danes Dyke and out to Flamborough before heading back to finish on the clifftops.

Nearly 300 runners enjoyed the muddy but fun conditions underfoot and the race was followed by the season ending presentation in the church hall.
Excellent running from home club stars Bill Lees, James Wilson, Paul Good and James Briggs saw them all finish inside the top 30, with Louise Taylor being the top placed BRR lady in 54th place.

After another competitive season, Wilson was first MV45 and seventh overall while Taylor was an impressive fourth lady overall.
Miriam Ireland had another excellent cross country season, finishing second in the F40 category.
