Scarborough darts ace Usher aiming for a bumper 2021
Usher has brushed shoulders with some of the best darts players in the world, from current World Champion Peter Wright to Premier League winner Glen Durrant.
He’s learning from the best, but now Usher has his sights on securing a PDC Tour Card in 2021.

“It was a surreal moment being on the summer and autumn series, but it was strange having to go back to our rooms and not be allowed to socialise with other players.
“It’s been great to win a few online tournaments which have been really competitive and I know that I’ve come up against some really tough opponents.”
The 2019 BDO World Masters quarter-finalist has seen his game improve significantly over the course of the year and dreams of one day featuring on Sky Sports in a major tournament.

“Competing against Peter (Wright) was an incredible experience and it has me dreaming of playing at the highest level possible on a more regular basis going forward.”
Usher hopes to follow in the footsteps of his friend and three time BDO World Champion Glen Durrant, who secured his PDC Tour Card in 2019.
Following that success, Durrant left his full-time job to concentrate on darts and has offered plenty of valuable advice to Usher.

“We’ve had the chance to practice together on numerous occasions and his journey to the top is something that I aspire to do as well.”
In a year of growing uncertainty, one thing has remained the same in Usher’s life.
His son Joe has been by his side every step of the way and Graham wanted to give his thanks to his number one fan.

“He’s been amazing, setting up shirt sponsors, posting on social media and helping me with my game as well.
“I couldn’t have done any of this without him and I’m so grateful for everything he’s done.”
