Scarborough darts star Graham Usher wins Christmas Competition at The Flask Inn
The latest round of ADC Vault darts action has seen Scarborough’s Graham Usher hit top form once again.
Saturday December 13 also saw the first annual Christmas Competition at The Flask Inn, with over £550 paid out on the day.

Graham Usher took the top prize on the day beating Tom Dawson in the final.
Graham Usher was dominant all day winning 25 of the 27 legs he played on the day, posting an average of 84.58 for the day.

He piled in a high average on the day of 98.02 beating Junior Hawkes 3-0 in the last 16.
In the group phase Usher recorded victories over Luke Beaumont, Ryan Spedding and Eren Eroglu all 3-0 before defeating Whitby's Richie Parkin 3-1 to ensure he progressed as group winner.
Victory over Hawkes in the last 16 followed before a quarter-final success against Mick Carrick by the same scoreline.
The two semi-finals saw two very much in-form players in Tom Dawson and Parkin face off, with Dawson winning 3-0 with an impressive 86.71 average, his first nine average above 114, to Parkin's 80.6.

The second semi-final saw Usher come out victorious over Rich Nicholson in what was a high quality game, Nicholson posting an 87.73 average to Usher's 88.41 in a 3-0 win.
In the final, Usher managed to capitalise on a slow start from Dawson, racing into a 3-0 lead before Dawson took leg four.
Just as it looked like Dawson may be getting a foothold in the match, Usher kicked off leg five with scores of 140, 140 and 100 to give himself a comfortable lead in the leg and eventually close out with double 10 sealing the deal.

All of these players may well feature in January's Modus Super Series play-off at the Whitby Cons Club in January, where the winner will receive a full week of televised darts on the Modus Super Series.
