Scarborough Pirates handed Oulton Challenge Cup trip

Scarborough Pirates ARLFC have been handed a trip to Kingstone Press Cider National Conference League premier side Oulton Raiders in the Ladbroke Challenge Cup first round.

Adam Lee’s team, who will be playing in the Yorkshire Men’s League premier division this summer, will head to Oultojn on the weekend of Saturday January 31 and Sunday February 1.

The draw, which was made by Martin Offiah and Brian Noble, also saw National Conference premier champions West Hull paired at home with Thatto Heath. Runners-up Wath Brow will face The Army away, while the Royal Navy welcome Saddleworth Rangers and the Royal Air Force host Siddal.

The bottom four Super League teams in 2014 enter the competition in round five with the top eight from last season joining in round six.
